										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://indydfs.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dress For Success Indianapolis</a> has one major fundraiser every year – Stepping Out In Style. It&#8217;s a night of high fashion, great food, critical fundraising and loads of fun. The mission of Dress for Success (DFS) Indianapolis is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.</p>
<p>When Constance joined the Board of Directors  years ago, she discovered  their annual event lacked a consistent branding structure. To help , she led the effort to develop an event brand logo, along with the necessary collateral – to streamline efficiency and provide consistency.</p>
<p>This project also  included the design and execution of the invitation, RSVP, ticket, posters, Powerpoint template, program and event signage, along with a showcase video that we scripted and produced, which increased their ask by more than 50%. Finally, we designed and delivered steppingoutinstyle.org to reinforce the plan.</p>
<p>Nonprofits rely on the support of the community to exist, thrive and do their job – which in the end helps everyone. Dress For Success Indianapolis does so much to help women in this community (we are a witness) and it&#8217;s an honor to do our part to help them do theirs.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So the phone rings&#8230;. &#8220;Connie, how busy are you right now?&#8221; I laugh and respond, &#8220;Hi Alan, I&#8217;m just living the dream, what&#8217;s up?&#8221; Well, what&#8217;s up was that the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis needed an annual report, like, yesterday. So we suited up and accepted the challenge (we like challenges). Alan handled the content and we handled the rest – it was fast and furious.</p>
<p>It was amazing to work with the YMCA team, Alan Schoff and all the powers-that-be to make this happen. Within a week the copy was &#8220;semi&#8221; approved,  brand standards were reviewed and an initial concept was on the table. We gathered images, shot pics to fulfill particular stories and laid down a first draft  to the Y within two weeks &#8211; and that draft was approved (with changes of course, but still)! We had seven days to get it right, get in on press and have it delivered by its due date. Whew, we&#8217;re still sweating that job a little &#8211; like we just went to the gym. The Y is an excellent organization and we were happy to assist. Heck, we probably lost five pounds for that effort AND they got what they needed.</p>
<p>Work included: Conception of the theme, embracing their brand standards, finding the best images to support the content, typography and style setting, design, production, communications, management and pre-press.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Center for Earth &amp; Environmental Science (CEES) at IUPUI wasn&#8217;t satisfied with their logo, and felt it didn&#8217;t visually communicate their mission to provide applied interdisciplinary environmental solutions to translate research into action while promoting environmental stewardship through education and public service programs.</p>
<p>CEES wanted a design that better communicated who they were and what they did. They wanted to see and feel: urban, Indianapolis, science, water, environment and community in their new logo. They also wanted several versions because each application had or needed its own treatment due to Indiana University (IU) brand standards and requirements of use.</p>
<p>We worked in tandem with IU brand standards and protocols in regards to colors and fonts, but the concept was ours to create. After two years of waiting for the board’s final decision, IU approved the logo. It&#8217;s now being incorporated throughout CEES’ marketing collateral – and we couldn&#8217;t be more thrilled. Our company believes in doing our part in being environmentally conscious and it was an honor to work with them on this effort.</p>

The theme: &#8220;Show Us Your Spring Break  Vacation on Delta Airlines @ IND.&#8221; Travelers used their own flip-cams and cell phones to create videos. They submitted the videos to IAA who picked the best and then implemented the prize(s). It was our job to help plan, manage, create and launch the necessary components to make this effort a reality.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Local badass, Denise Dilworth of <a href="http://www.wordfuse.biz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WordFuse</a>, asked us to help her with an extensive project with local company <a href="https://www.vitacyte.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">VitaCyte</a>. They were in need of a new website that would better serve their efforts: speak to, communicate with and sell to customers on a global scale.</p>
<p>We looked at their existing site, collateral and branding – then  met with their team (a lot). We decided that bolder colors in their branding and a new tagline would better express who they were. We also reviewed a mountain of internal data to learn more about them, as well as their competition, to help position them on a path to success. Once we were finished with logo treatment and their website, we were asked to build out a couple of trade show banners to reinforce their new tools.</p>
<p>Work included: color research, corporate messaging, onsite photography, user interface design, testing, print design, production and pre-press.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yerington Theatre for the Arts (YTA) has four major performances each season. They hired us to manage the marketing, design and management on all platforms. We were thrilled with the creative freedom, plus we love tunes, so it was a win-win. Their goals included increasing ticket sales, connecting with a younger audience and having a visual appearance that would drive interest in the performance itself and in the organization as a whole.</p>
<p>Work on these performances included (but wasn&#8217;t limited to) contacting the artist (or hopefully a responsive manager) to provide us with any visuals we could build upon. We researched the artist, investigated their brand, watched their videos and sampled their music. We gathered required components (funding logos, required mentions or specific content) that needed to be in place. More often than not, we had to make it work with very little visual support, but we learned to roll with it &#8211; then we began to love the challenge.</p>
<p>We managed print quotes, media costs and PR. For each performance we wrote, designed and implemented: press releases, direct mailers, posters, social media promotions, tickets, programs and website reinforcement. If we were lucky and it was in the budget, we produced a radio spot and/or TV commercial as well. mediumFUSION has a long history of performances to reflect on, thanks to them. This one was one of our favorites.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After working with YTA for several years, they approached us with confidence and asked if  we could assist them with their 3 year pilot idea of launching a small farmers market. Now, we all love farmers markets and we were thrilled with the opportunity to help them make this a success. We all had a lot to learn and it was exciting.</p>
<p>We met with Western Nevada College &#8211; Specialty Crop Institute professionals , flew out and attended workshops and met other local farmers that maintained booths at nearby markets to get their feedback. We evaluated what worked and what didn&#8217;t –  then mapped out a marketing and design plan and created timelines for deliverables to back it up. They needed the works and we were happy to deliver.</p>
<p>Work included: branding, logo design, social media strategies, print and digital marketing, indoor and outdoor signage, tents and bags, direct mail, posters, contests, promotions, radio script and photography. We are thrilled to report the Yerington Farmers Market is now four years old!</p>
